Program Offerings 2021-2022
The preschool has adopted the learning standards as established by the Mo. Dept. of Elementary and Secondary Education (Early
Childhood Division) as the basis of our program. We strive to provide a wide range of developmental appropriate learning experiences through an innovative and interactive theme based curriculum designed to stimulate, assist, support, and sustain emergent skills so that our preschoolers can meet or exceed the
Missouri Learning Standards prior to entering kindergarten.
Ever mindful of the program goals, assessment of student progress is an on-going process usually taking place within the context of daily experiences and activities. Parent/teacher conferences are scheduled in the spring and Parents As Teachers from Wentzville's School District provides an assessment screening to students residing in the district.
Independence and Self Esteem
To help each child gain independence and develop a positive feeling about him/herself and his/her abilities to create and learn
To help each child develop and interact in a positive way toward teachers and peers
To help develop fine and gross motor skills
To strengthen each child's language development through listening, speaking and dramatic play activities which we believe are the basis for the acquisition of reading, writing and other communication skills
To develop cognitive skills through creative learning activities providing a foundation for entrance into kindergarten.
To develop a reverence for all living things created by God.
