Our Philosophy

This is a wonderful time of unlimited energy and natural curiosity in a young child's life.  In a caring and positive atmosphere, we provide a place and a curriculum that is exciting, stimulating, and enjoyable where each child is actively involved in the learning process.

Our Team

Living Lord Lutheran Preschool has an experienced and well-qualified director and staff of teachers.  All staff members are degreed from a four year college or university with a major in elementary and/or early childhood education.

This will my 4th year as director but I've been with Living Lord for 14 years as a former teacher myself! My husband, Pat, and I have three grown children but a house full of animals. We just added a new puppy Charlee last year! When I'm not helping in the classrooms or office I like to take a trip down to Busch Stadium to catch a Cardinals game!

This will be my 17th year teaching  preschool and my 22nd year in education.

My husband, Daryl and I stay busy with our 3 kids (all alumni of Living Lord Preschool) with their many activities that include high school dance and marching band and competitive drum line. I look forward to an exciting year of learning with your child!

This is my 9th year as a preschool teacher at Living Lord.  My husband, Chris,  and I have 2 children who went to Living Lord when they were young. They keep us busy with marching band and sports. We also have a puppy named Bella who is super spoiled! When I am not at preschool, I enjoy spending time with my kids and nieces and nephews!

This is my 5th year teaching at Living Lord Preschool.  My daughter Emma attended this preschool, too!  I want this to be the best year for your child & know that working together we will accomplish that!  Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns.

Our Facility and Classrooms

Living Lord's 12,000 square foot facility allows for great  flexibility in usage of its open spaces and meeting rooms.  The preschool uses the sanctuary for weekly chapel, utilizes the Fellowship Room for whole school events such as our Fall Festival, Sensory Fair, and birthday party for Jesus and uses the upstairs gathering space for large gross motor activities when the weather does not allow us to go outside.

Our three classrooms are light-filled and colorful and designed to promote wonder, curiosity and cognitive stimulation through  a wide variety of sensory and learning centers, as well as introduction to SMARTboards.
